I am writing this message because I am trying to reach out to those like minded alumni that feel the same way that I do - "It's time to give back to ITBHU, what ITBHU gave to you". I know most of us have very fond memories of those 5/4 years that we spent "lancating", or hanging out at the "Paan dukan" at the corner of Dhanrajgiri and Rajputana. I am sure many of you have spent time hanging out at the canteen or the hostel and probably have nostalgic episodes that you relate to each other when you get together. We have volunteered to try and help raise some funds for our Institute to help put wireless network access in all the hostels. As some of you know (please look at the pitcures), our hostels now have fiber optic connectivity to an access point outside the hostel. Unfortunately, that is where the connectivity stops. In order for the students to take advantage of things like email (stuff that we take for granted) and browsing the net, and checking out online content from the Library (yes we have just completed a small project that automates access to Library content ) This is a message going out to all ITBHU alum's. Please help. We take money & public stock. In the US, we are registered 501 (c) 3 charitable organization and all donations will be tax free. In India, you can send your checks to Prayas fund. Look at the "How to Donate" link below. You can also make donations via paypal or you can set us up to get checks or wire transfers on a monthly basis.
