Professor P. Ramachandra Rao, BHU Vice Chancellor, requests the donation of used desktop computers from overseas alumni.
Please share your ideas on the feasibility of collecting and moving these computers for setting up in BHU hostels and laboratories.
The IT Day was celebrated on March 26th, 2003. Mr. S. S. Kohli MEC66, Chairman and Managing Director of Punjab National Bank Ltd. was the chief guest. He announced a grant of Rs 5 lakh for sports facilities at ITBHU.

Spardha is the annual inter-college competition organized by the ITBHU Gymkhana that includes the following events:
- Atheletics
- Basketball
- Cricket
- Football
- Hockey
- Tennis
- Squash
- Table Tennis
The other attractions of the event are:
- A midnight-to-sunrise boat ride on the Ganges
- Bonfire at KP (the King's Pavilion)
- The Dance Party
At this point, we are clueless about the dates, the participating colleges and news from the last meet.
