Hello Folks,

Based on the majority of responses received, finally, the long overdue 3rd IT-BHU Silicon Valley Alumni Meet would happen on 22nd July, 2006 at Stanford University Campus! More details are provided below.

We cordially invite all alumni and their family residing-in-or-around/visiting Bay Area to attend the event and meet other fellow IT-ians!

Parking:
Plenty of free weekend parking is available on Lyman parking lot/ Lyman Tennis court Parking lot and Golf Course parking lot (park on A or C lot not on WE lot).

Agenda:
1. Primarily social and professional gathering in an informal environment. We would have arrangements for lunch, snacks, drinks and a large community BBQ and last but not the least, banarsi chaai! Hope this would provide the right environment!

2. In last 2-3 years we have been able to integrate the alumni under ITBHU.org to great extent. ORG has several thousand registered members and now executes many financially significant alumni projects for our alma mater. We would have guest speakers from BoD of ITBHU.org to give us an overview of what has been achieved and what is planned for future.

3. Fundraising for entire campus-wide high speed wireless network being built by alumni. We would have guest speakers who are involved with this project since inception and have worked hard to make it a reality. You can get all your apprehensions answered before we urge you to tear a couple of pages from your cheque books! Be ready for many pleasant surprises! We have commitments from a few alumni who would announce their contributions in the meet.

4. Reminiscing our golden times at the institute. Again, you are in for many surprises. We would play videos of many major ITBHU festivals like Kashiyatra, Technex etc. If you are lucky you might get to pick an institute T-Shirt or a Cap!

Charges:
$15-$25 depending upon the turnout (to cover the lunch expenses). We would either reimburse the restover amount immediately after the meeting or put it on the ITBHU Hostel Wi-Fi Project account as desired by the most attendees.
