US college admissions: 'five basic steps' (US News)
An intersting bit of info is that you get 50% discount on DHL packets showing BHU-ID card. I myself never knew that! Let the networking grow ... and you can do better than what past students did !

Though one should not blindly believe in such rankings, they are usually a good starting guide to determine if the Univ you are considering is generally well respected as a grad school, as also
department-wise.
Find here a link for the complete USNews graduate rankings (incl business and engg). Note that this link is actually posting protected premium content, and would probably be brought down pretty soon.

RA positions for MS/Ph.D and Post Doctoral Position in EE Dept., University of Nevada,Reno, USA
I specifically encourage ECE Dept/IT students to apply for these positions. Our preference is for Ph.D program but students for MS will also be considered. GPA: 3.5/4 and higher, TOEFL more than 560 and GRE: Verbal + Quantitative > 1150, Analytical>3.5 are required. These RA positions are in the area of Optical Communication/RF Microwaves combination.
For PostDoc position: Ph.D in ECE with strong background in Optical Communications/Optical Sensors area. Nonliinear Optics/WDM Technology are desirable.
