The year 2005 looks promising for the CSE society. After being dormant for quite sometime, there is now some activity. To start with, introductory classes for the first and second year CSE students on the fundamentals of computer science and engineering are being organised. In the first of many more to come, a workshop on "Fundamentals of Computer Networks" was organised on 22nd Jan by Neeraj Kumar Jadaun and Durgesh Prasad, both from 4th CSE and was attended by a number of students from the freshmen and sophomore years.
A series of GD sessions is also being conducted for the first yearites (CSE) by Neeraj Kumar Jadaun of 4th CSE. The major aim of this initiative is to prepare the students for job interviews and also for any competitive examinations requiring fluency of spoken english.
