The 3rd online meet of the alumni, students and Faculty of the Deptt of CSE will be held on the 2nd weekend of February (ie, 13th of February) 2005 at 9:00 A.M. IST
The agenda for the meet will be as follows:
1. Director's Message
2. The faculty member present in the conference gives an update about the department
3. a)Success Story:Rahul Hari CSE06 speaks about the success of the project for the upstairs Lab
b) Arpit Nand CSE06 speaks about further upgradation of the lab with a proper power backup.
4. Success Story: Pankaj Yadav CSE 05 tells the story about how the cse 2nd, 3rd and 4th year get 24 hrs internet connectivity in their rooms
5. Success Story: Rahul Hari CSE06 tells the story about how 8 students from the department get summer internships at IBM due to the effort of Gaurav Sharma CSE96. Also a discussion on how the alumni can help in getting summer internships and better quality of job placements for the current students.
6. Animesh Pathak delivers a report on his visit to the department.
7. Arun Tangri cse06 talks about organising the Tech fest (more of a conference or guest lecture sort) by the CSE society.
8. Library Update: Ravindra Patel cse07 tells about the present status of the library.
9. Animesh Pathak CSE03 speaks about the ways in which the usage of open source technologies/linux can be improved in the department.
10. Open Session

Note: Each session is supposed to be about 20 mins. long. This time can be extended if the key speaker gets requests from most of the people for extending it (Obviously thru pms). For getting entry into the conference, please add the following people to your messenger's list and ask them for an invitation once the conference begins.

Also to join in the conference, the convention followed last year will continue this year also. ie, your yahoo id should be first name_ roll no.> eg. rahulhsaxena_20020002. For this you need not create a separate id. Yahoo gives an option of creating a new profile for the same id. If still someone faces problems do let us know (this one is of course for the janta in insti who doesn't know much about messenger).
Only then will you be allowed to join the meet.
This time we expect more students to be joining in for the meet since everyone has a 24 hr internet access in his room.
