Home for the Institute's Website
ITBHU.org Editor @ 01:47 PM

ITBHU.org is assisting the institute with the hosting infrastructure and content management tools for the institute's official website at http://itbhu.ac.in. At the institute's request, we have configured DNS support for itbhu.ac.in and provided the hosting space to the in-charge professors and students to start building its website.

A dedicated ITBHU.org volunteer in Bangalore, Anshuman Singh EEE98, continues to manage the From the Institute site upddating alumni with the happenings at the institute.

Constitution of California Public Benefit Corporation
Sanjay Dani CSE @ 12:39 AM

Greetings!

On behalf of the ITBHU.org team, I am pleased to announce that ITBHU.org is being incorporated as a California Public Benefit Corporation. The incorporation along with a 501 (c) (3) certification as a public charitable foundation will make it possible to accept donations from alumni to carry out the ITBHU.org mission.

The ITBHU Organization of Alumni, aka ITBHU.org, will be governed by a board of directors. Initial directors are Aakash Sahai CSE88, Jagadish Bandhole CSE95, Sanjay Dani CSE87 and Ujj Nath MET79. We have been meeting informally to take a stock of organizational priorities. We are formulating executive committees to take on the core initiatives, specifically online services, alumni registration, fund-raising, IITization, and coordination of alumni chapters. After incorporation, minutes of board meetings will be regularly posted on this site.

You may also have noticed increasing activities under the decentralized web sites run by smaller teams interested in specific initiatives or chapters .

If you always had that desire to do something for the institute, now is the best time to come forward! You can make a commitment to join an organization-wide initiative or start a chapter for your department, geograhic area or class.

As an early volunteer, you will help shape ITBHU.org's direction. It has been quite an experience for the few of us to come this far. But the real fun begins now! As the team reaches a critical mass, we can plan and execute as an organization. To be sure, there are going to be challenges but it is bound to be a fulfilling experience. Don't miss it!

Cheers,
ITBHU.org Team
