Pinki leaves for Oscar ceremony-Varanasi-Cities-The Times of India

"Hum abhi Dilli ja rahe hain. Wahan se America jayenge (we are going to Delhi. From there, we will go to America)," Pinky said before leaving Varanasi with her father Rajendra Sonkar and plastic surgeon Dr Subodh Kumar Singh who corrected her cleft lip.

"Hum America se Oscar layenge (we will bring Oscar from America)," she said, when asked why she was going there. A native of Rampur Dahaba village in Mirzapur, Pinky is the central character of the 39-minute documentary.
