Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) appoints IT BHU alumnus as VP of Technology Programs

The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) announced, on 30th Sept. 2004, the appointment of Dr. Pushkar Apte as Vice President of Technology Programs.

Dr. Apte received his Masters and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University in Materials Science and Electrical Engineering, and his Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India.

The SIA is the leading voice for the semiconductor industry and has represented U.S semiconductor companies since 1977 and SIA member companies comprise more than 85% of the U.S. semiconductor industry.
