This article was earlier posted by the organizers as a comment. We are re-posting it verbatim as an article for widest coverage. The Malaviya Mission that the BHU International Alumni Association is affiliated with plays a positive outsider's role to influence the growth of BHU. Something similar to what we want to play in shaping IT-BHU's future. Elevating ITBHU to the level of IIT's is its stated top goal for BHU's next five year plan.

THIS is the ITBHU alumni group. You can be part of the core team now and help them define the group, its charter and how to open chapters. You can start one of the charters and affiliate with us. Or you can wait until the charter is formalized to join here online.
In the meantime, please feel free to post comments on the issues discussed in the articles.
Thank you!

People wanting to help with this site should look at the "How Can I Help ?" link in the navigation bar.
There are lots of things which need to be done and are listed there. That is a good place to start.
Its a good list of things that need to be done and have been prioritized .. just pick up the ones which you would like to work.
Lets give our best .. rest should follow :-)

Hi Vinod,
Yes, we are! Ashish Singhal has done excellent work over the years. He was to our knowledge was the first person to really address the alumni gathering issue. He has graciously agreed to contribute to ITBHU.org and in the process we will integrate his site you mention here by evolving it furhter for live alumni registration.
Thanks again!

Hello,
I, Varindra am working for a R & D organization in Bangalore. I have done my M.Tech. in Digital Technique from IT-BHU. Is the Alumni meet (Int'l meet at Mumbai) exclusive for B. Tech. & M.Tech. pass-outs ?
If it is for M.Tech. also, then how should one go ahead for registration.

Dear Sir,
As an alumni and daughter of one of the partners of Benares Hindu University Shri V.A Sundaram who worked closely with pandit Madan Mohan Malviya for fund raising of the university, I have just reprinted athe book called Alma Meter written by Shri V.A.Sundaram.
I think it would be appropriate to expose it in the international conference of BHU in Malad. Shall I post it to you. I am in Goa presently.
Who will be presiding this conference.
Many thanks
